Your first day in Duxer Cloud
By the time you've finished this page, you'll have:
- Logged into your tenant.
- Added a teammate.
- Set your brand colour and logo.
- Run the platform end-to-end with one test asset.
It takes about 20 minutes.
1. Log in
Your tenant lives at {your-tenant}.duxer.cloud — or your custom domain if
you're on the Pro tier and have already wired DNS. The first login is via
email magic link; you'll set up a password (or SSO) afterwards.
If you don't have a tenant yet, request access — we provision a sandbox within one working day.
2. Add a teammate
Settings → Users → Invite user.
Pick a role: Admin, Operator, Viewer, or Client. The difference:
- Admin — full tenant access, including billing and branding.
- Operator — full operational access (intake, processing, dispositions), no settings.
- Viewer — read-only, useful for accounting or compliance staff.
- Client — limited portal access; only sees projects they own.
You can have unlimited admins on every tier — caps apply to other roles. See your tier capabilities.
3. Set your brand
Settings → Branding.
- Logo — PNG or SVG, max 2MB, transparent background recommended.
- Brand colour — applied to buttons, links, badges, and document headers. Use a hex code; we'll auto-derive hover and tint shades.
- Document footer — appears on every PDF (Waste Transfer Notes, Consignment Notes, ESG reports).
On Pro: also add your custom domain here. The DNS wiring walks itself through; full guide in the Settings page.
4. Run the platform end-to-end
The fastest way to learn the workflow is to push one asset through it:
- Create a project — Projects → New. Add a collection address and a client name. The rest is optional.
- Add an asset — inside the project, Assets → New. Pick a device type (Laptop / Desktop / Server / Monitor / Phone / Other), add a make/model.
- Progress it — change status from
new→collected→tested→wiped→ready. The platform records every transition. - Capture from the field — install the Duxer iOS app on a phone or tablet, log in to your tenant, open the project, and scan the asset's serial or barcode. Take a condition photo. Save. The capture appears in the dashboard the moment connectivity returns.
- Open the project's ESG snapshot — Reports → your project. You'll see the component-level carbon model in action even on a single asset.
That's the operating loop. Everything else — multi-asset intake, DEFRA filing, branded PDF export — is the same loop with more leverage.
