We've spent years in the circular tech space, and the thing that struck us was how isolated everyone works. Champions, refurbishers, ITADs: everyone handles their own piece and moves on. Nobody talks to anybody else in the chain.
An industry that doesn't communicate gets a market that doesn't trust it, and the tools didn't help. Enterprise platforms were priced out of reach. Mid-market platforms had stopped investing. Everyone else was running their piece of the chain off a shared Excel and a hope, with no way to prove what happened to a device before it reached them.
We're a small UK team, and we run an ITAD operation ourselves. We built Duxer Cloud to fix the isolation at the source: one record that follows a device across every handoff, so trust doesn't have to be taken on faith. We were going to build it for ourselves anyway. We just decided to build it for the Champions and refurbishers we work with too.
